Where I Learned to Knit

I had just moved to Vernon, BC and was living in a hotel while my husband and I searched for a house.  Bored and wanting something to do, I googled ‘craft stores near me’ and was happy to see that this shop was 2 blocks away from the hotel.
I knew how to do a knit stitch and that was it, but since I had all this time on my hands, I thought I would take the time and use YouTube to expand on my skills.
When I entered the shop, a woman (Camella, the shops owner) was on the phone talking to someone about classes.  Once she was available, I made the same inquiry and that was that.  January 12th, 2017 was my first knitting class and I have knit every day since.
Long story short, I spent an atrocious amount of time there, so much so that I was offered a job and from that day on I have been happily helping customers and shamefully using that platform to promote myself.  😉
